HerbaTherapy Rosemary 'cineol' essential oil (Rosmarinus officinalis ct. cineol) – 10 ml

Rosemary is a woody shrub native to the Mediterranean basin, southern France and North Africa. Folk medicine has long used it – it already had a place in medicine in ancient Egypt and Rome, and in the Middle Ages it was even used to protect against the plague. It was mostly used to relieve sore muscles and for joint problems.

Properties: anti-inflammatory, loosens stuck mucus, cough-suppressing, promotes concentration, nerve tonic and memory-improving, boosts circulation.

Therapeutic suggestions: hair loss, dandruff; chronic or acute bronchitis; rheumatic pain; low blood pressure; learning difficulties; mental exhaustion, improving cognitive abilities; increasing willpower.

Professional tip: dilution is necessary when applied to the skin, but it has no photosensitizing effect, so it can be used in summer too. For local (dermal) use max. 4% is recommended.

HerbaTherapy recipes – Concentration-boosting blend to aid learning: 5 drops rosemary cineol + 10 drops lemon + 2 drops Atlas cedar, diffused. Anti-hair-loss blend: 1 ml rosemary cineol + 1 ml Atlas cedar + 0.5 ml cypress essential oil mixed into 100 ml of shampoo.

Safety instructions and contraindications: the HerbaTherapy protocol does not recommend using essential oils under 3 months of age. Keep out of the reach of children! Store protected from light and heat! Do a skin test before use: apply one drop of the essential oil to the crook of your elbow or the inside of your wrist; if no allergic reaction appears within 24 hours, it can be used safely.
